Mathame — Tomorrowland Freedom Stage

Programming the full show
For Mathame’s performance at Tomorrowland’s Freedom Stage, Guarda Studio developed the full lighting show programming on GrandMA3. The design combined timecoded sequences for core tracks with live busking sections to keep the set responsive and energetic. The programming process focused on cue logic, transitions and palette control, defining a balance between precision and spontaneity. Previz and testing ensured that the system could adapt smoothly to the festival’s shared rig and high-pressure schedule.

Live precision in motion
During the show, the team operated the GrandMA3 console in real time, managing transitions between timecoded sections and manual control. Every cue and override was executed with millisecond accuracy to maintain alignment with content and music. The hybrid setup delivered both reliability and freedom — a live system engineered to react, not just repeat.
