Lighting programming and live operation for Alta Gioielleria performance

Pomellato — The Dualism of Milan

Design Process

Translating duality into movement and light

For The Dualism of Milan, Pomellato’s Alta Gioielleria presentation, Guarda Studio developed the complete lighting programming and live operation of a performance conceived as a dialogue between contrasts — heritage and innovation, intimacy and spectacle, precision and emotion. The programming on GrandMA3 was designed to accompany the rhythm of the choreography and the architecture of the space, using light as a structural element rather than a backdrop. Each sequence was built to shift tone and density with subtle control, amplifying the material qualities of the jewels and the gestures on stage.

Live Result

Light as structure

During the live performance, Guarda Studio operated the GrandMA3 system in real time, refining cue timing and dynamics to align with music and movement. The result was a seamless performance environment where light defined rhythm and perception — an atmosphere measured, tactile, and completely integrated with the identity of the collection.
