Kappa Futur Festival
Adapting design to a shared environment
For three consecutive editions of Kappa Futur Festival, Guarda Studio worked on the assigned stage as co-lighting designer, programmer and live operator. The goal was to define a consistent visual identity within a multi-artist setup, where fixtures, positions and timings changed daily. We developed a lighting language tailored to each artist’s set, balancing pre-programmed looks with live-driven adjustments. Show files were built to be modular and easily reconfigured between days and performances.

Stability through control
Across multiple sets and long operating sessions, the GrandMA3 system proved stable and adaptable. Live programming combined structured cue lists with responsive busking to handle spontaneous energy shifts from the crowd or the artist. Each performance demanded accuracy, timing and restraint — keeping coherence and impact even under the typical intensity of a festival environment.
